Hi – I’m Lila Guenther. I am a beaded jewelry designer.
I was introduced to beading by my aunt when I was a child. I began seriously beading about 4 years ago after I discovered gemstones, and that led to a renewed interest in beads. I read every book I could find on beading, learning many stitches and always wanting to learn more. I began to sell my pieces after people who saw my jewelry started commenting “oh, you should sell that!”

I have kept coming across you when I have been doing my Gilruth family research. I’m from the same ultimate ancestor, in Blairgowrie, Scotland, and then Ohio, through the Isaac Newton Gilruth who fought in the Civil War and then moved to Mississippi.
I can add some and make corrections to that line, if you are interested.
